MINI wanted a more engaging design for their stand-alone model detail pages. I created an approach that embodied an editorial style with co-branded elements that provided a more engaging and rich experience by allowing users to shop and configure simultaneously.

TRAVEL EXPERIENCE CONCEPT

MINI was looking to broaden the definition of the brand by creating lifestyle experiences to speak specifically to their target audience – the creative class. We created an online destination narrative that viewers could explore, book, and purchase directly from the page.


 

AUGMENTED REALITY SHOWROOM EXPERIENCE

In concert with Microsoft's Hololens augmented reality platform, we created an enhanced MINI dealership showroom experience. Through AR, prospective buyers could experience the brand like never before without ever getting behind the wheel of a MINI. We created a virtual narrative that introduced the brand through a celebrity spokesperson to take users through a hall of history and educate them on model specs and details, all through the lens of their own eyes.

 

MODEL COMPARISON

MINI wanted to redesign their online comparison tool to be on-par with their award winning configurator. I designed an experience that simplified the presentation by focusing the layout of only 2 models. This allowed us to present an organized side-by-side comparison while presenting the user with motivational triggers like live action video walkthroughs, UGC photography, and owner testimonials.
